High Arches
High arches (Pes Cavus) are known to be painful due to an excessive amount of weight that is placed on the ball and heel of the foot. This can lead to calluses on the ball, heel, and even the side of the foot. (A condition known as Pes Cavus can occur in one or both feet at any age.)
